Steve Caplin
Founder & President
Steve Caplin holds an MBA from the University of Texas, where he focused on high technology entrepreneurship and competitive corporate strategy. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, Summa Cum Laude, from Southern Utah University. Caplin is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to forming Steton Technology Group, Caplin was successful in sales and business management at IBM, as well as in corporate finance for Southland Financial Corporation.
Shane Callahan
CFO
As CFO and Vice-President of Finance & Administration, M. Shane Callahan directs Accounting and Finance functions, Human Resources, Risk Management and contract administration. Prior to employment with Steton, Callahan served as a Business/Financial Analyst for NuSkin Enterprises working directly for the Pharmanex division CFO preparing budgets, financial reports, and conducting trend analysis. Callahan earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Management / Finance from Brigham Young University, Marriott School of Management. Callahan brings substantial operational experience to his current role, previously having overseen customer operations and sales engineering at Steton.
David Omer
Vice President of Technology Services
David Omer, Vice President of Technology Services, oversees Research & Development, Information Technology, Professional Services, and Customer Service. He joined Steton in 2004 and was named vice president of technology services in 2008. Omer has over 20 years professional experience in technology working in various functions including project management, MIS management, business application development, enterprise architecture, and systems consulting. Omer's resume includes Information Technology architecture, Information Systems design, and senior consulting positions for Fortune 500 companies such as Fluor Corporation and Computer Sciences Corporation as well as government agencies including NASA.
